Sistene Acorn The acorn box is made out of seven pieces and all of the joints are hand-chased threads.  The stand and the spire are made out of African Blackwood and joinded to the acorn by 16tpi threads.  The image in the upper, right-hand of the graphic has been digitally modified to show the bottom of the finial which extends into the top of the acorn.  The top of the acorn and the small bowl are made out of Pink Ivory.  The top of the acorn is joined by 16tpi threads to the European Boxwood acorn cap.  The seed and piece of all-thread are made out of Lao Boxwood.  The seed and bowl are joined to the stand by the piece of all-thread with 20tpi threads.  The whole thing is 11.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide.      EggSpired This sculpture is made out of six pieces and all the joints are made of hand-chased threads.  The spindles on the top and bottom are made of African Blackwood and are joined to the vessel with 16tpi threads.  The vessel is made of giant palm nuts and are joined with a 16 tpi thread.  The stylized rosebud is made of manzanita burl and is joined to the stand with a piece of Lao Boxwood 20 tpi all-thread.  The whole thing is 11 inches tall by a little less than two inches wide.    EggSpired Bent This sculpture is made of six pieces and all the joints are made with hand-chased threads.  The base, lower spindle, and top spindle are all made out of African Blackwood.  The two spindles are joined to the vessel with 16tpi threads and the joining of the base and lower spindle is a 20 tpi thread.  The little white finial that sticks out the bottom of the base is made of ivory and joins with a 32 tpi thread.  The vessel is made of two giant palm nuts and is joined with a 16 tpi thread.  The whole thing is 12.25 inches tall and 2 inches wide.    Johnny Johnny is made of five pieces all joined with hand-chased threads.  The top finial is made of Lao Boxwood and is joined by a 20 tpi thread.  The helmet is made of African Blackwood and joins the giant Palm nut face with a 16 tpi thread.  The lower spindle and base are both African Blackwood and are joined with a 20 tpi thread.  The whole thing is 9.5 inches tall and just shy of 2 inches wide.
